Winemaker Comments: Malbec was hand harvested in mid September under ideal conditions. The berries were gently de-stemmed (without crushing)directly into one ton open top fermentors. Saignee was per- formed, and 20% of the juice was immediately pulled from the must. Fermentation lasted 21 days before being lightly pressed into once used French oak barrels.

Aging: Aged 22 months in two year old French oak barrels.
